Paris

I took so many photos in Paris! We did so much stuff while we were there. We saw everything we wanted, we went midway up the eiffel tower because the top was closed for some reason.. and we went all the way up notre dame! it was such an amazing view. We went on a bike tour at night and seeing everything lit up was really cool and we got to go to the highest observatory in Europe. It was awesome. I was really into the Eiffel Tower and the angles and I really just want to make a ton of black and white photos from them, here is just a sample and really just a sample of what I took because there are just way too many for me to go through right now, so enjoy!

Back to America tomorrow! it’s kinda sad but we are ready. We are getting ready for our last meal here, probably another two plate pizza!! 🙂

Tuscania this morning

this morning I had to wake up wicked early (5:30) to get to the 6:50 bus to Tuscania. The ride was really pretty and the place was pretty too! The views were really nice and yes there were cats there! (and a dog) I also learned today that most bathrooms in Italy don’t have toilet paper in them (luckily I had some napkins in my backpack!) anyway. We are going back there in the morning but I doubt I can get Lauren up to come.. anyway I’ll probably do my writing homework and take a nap til later 🙂

Some photos that wouldn’t post to the last update

Some more dogs and the sunset tonight 🙂

Villa Lante and CATS, lots of cats

Today my class went to this garden place called Villa Lante in a town called Bangia. There were fountains, so many fountains. Plants and trees everywhere, flowers and so much green. There were also tons of cats around the garden and I managed to find a dog in the town too! One of the cats(the grey tabby) seemed relatively healthy while the other two (black and orange ones) seemed not so healthy. The black one seemed a little dingy while the orange one seemed very dingy and it’s eye was all gunky and had some cuts and stuff on it. I didn’t touch any of them just to be safe! Anyway so yea, I took a ton of photos today, mostly of fountains and cats! 🙂

Capo De Monte

So I tried to post last night but the internet here was being very slow and would not post to save my life. I guess it didn’t even save my draft so I’m going to try to post again. Hopefully it will work. Yesterday we went to the lake that supposedly had black volcanic sand and it did but it wasn’t as black as I was expecting it, but it was REALLY hot! The lake was okay(nothing like the ocean at home) it was a little cold and had some gross moss stuff growing on the bottom, but it was okay i suppose. Either way it was really pretty and it had a nice atmosphere. Everyone was there with their families and the kids were running up and down and playing in the water, so it was nice. There were vendors walking up and down selling all kinds of stuff from a guy selling bags to this lady trying to get people to pay for her to do corn rows. I have to say thought they weren’t annoying like you would normally see vendors being. There was this one guy who was selling these tapestry things and they were super pretty and almost everyone in the group bought one for only 10 euros! 🙂 So when we got back from the lake we showered and relaxed for a bit then we went out to eat with two other girls from the group to this place that’s in the Guinness book of world records for having the most pasta dishes on the menu. Literately like 100 different kinds at least. When we first got there they weren’t quite open yet so we walked around the corner to where a local Italian band was set up and doing a sound check and it was cool and interesting and there were some people dancing and the light that was hitting the buildings was so pretty! So enjoy the photos! 🙂
